If you’ve ever been told that Genesis proves men are meant to lead and women are meant to follow…
It’s time to look again.
Jesus in Eden is a guided study through Genesis 2–3 that helps you see what the text actually says—so you can understand Scripture with clarity, not confusion.

Jesus in Eden is a guided study through Genesis 2–3 that helps you see what the text actually says—so you can understand Scripture with clarity, not confusion.
Something never sat right.
You tried to believe what you were taught.
You tried to reconcile the idea that God designed men to lead and women to follow…
But when you read the text for yourself, something didn’t add up.
You were told:
Eve caused the fall
Women were deceived
Men were given authority
But the more you read…
The less clear that became.
And maybe you started to wonder:
“Is this really what Genesis teaches?”
I had spent years trying to quiet my questions. Trying to be obedient. Trying to be “submissive” in the way my church taught.
I was the pastor’s wife. I was in leadership.
And I was deeply disillusioned.
Because what I was being taught…
didn’t match what I was seeing in the text.
When I slowed down and actually studied the words—
I realized something:
Genesis doesn’t say what we’ve been told it says.
The story isn’t about hierarchy.
It’s not about patriarchy.
It’s not about a chain of command.
👉 Jesus is in Eden.
Genesis is not the origin of man’s domination over woman.
It is the origin of God’s plan to redeem all of creation through Christ.
And if you misunderstand what happens in Eden…
you will struggle to understand the rest of Scripture.
Because Genesis 1–3 is the foundation.
When you look closely:
Nowhere does God curse Eve
Nowhere does Scripture blame Eve for the fall
Nowhere does God command men to rule over women
